It's been a long, crazy journey. This is how we got here.

IT'S ALREADY BEEN A PRETTY WILD RIDE.

The story of Mile Wide Beer Co. begins with a few friends, a couple beers, and one big idea. Along the way there have been ups and downs, frustration, elation, and a near disaster or two. And we're just getting started! The pictures below are here to serve as a visual history for years to come. Be sure to follow along on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Located in a building that was once home to a biscuit factory as well as Louisville's first brewpub, our taproom and brewery are nestled behind a towering grain silo at 636 Barret Avenue.

Conveniently situated between Downtown and the Original Highlands, our large parking lot and proximity to public transportation make getting here a breeze.

Our taproom consists of multiple seating options and plenty of space to unwind. Up for a game? We have board games and a game room featuring a few classic arcade and pinball machines.

Scott spent nine years working for Schlafly Beer as a Regional Brewery Representative. Very soon after he began with Schlafly, Scott realized that the Craft Beer industry was a perfect fit for him. Scott heads up the Sales & Marketing side of Mile Wide Beer Co.

Kyle, a native of Henderson, KY, studied at the World Brewing Academy & Master Brewer Certification program. After graduation he accepted a position at Schlafly Beer in St Louis, where he worked as a brewer and as a Quality Assurance Specialist until he left to join the Mile Wide team.
